NSD Chair Tej Kumari Tiwari participated in the launch event of Nepal Business & Disability Network (NBDN) organized by Global Compact Nepal in collaboration with International Labour Organization (ILO) and Association of International NGOs in Nepal (AIN) on 12 December 2023 at UN House, Pulchowk, Kathmandu. The network will be a valuable resource for promoting disability inclusion in the workplace. It will also serve as a networking platform for sharing best practices in disability inclusion.

Last year, Global Compact Nepal, along with the Nepal Society of the Disabled (NSD) and UN Nepal, organized a program titled "Inclusive Workplaces: Where do we Begin?" aimed at raising awareness among private sector companies about creating inclusive workplaces.
